School Structure

Victoria Dock Primary School has three Key Stages comprising of the Foundation Stage, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two. The Foundation Stage caters forĀ 56 children from our youngest who are three years old up to those in Foundation Two who are five years old.

Children then move into Key Stage One where they spend two years, initially in Year 1 (5 to 6 years old) then finishing Year 2 (6 to 7 years old).

After Key Stage One, children move into Key Stage Two which is made of four year groups where children move through years 3, 4, 5 and 6 before leaving for secondary school education at the age of 11 years old.

A Message From the Head Teacher

Mr. KiteMr. Kite

At Victoria Dock Primary School all children will be given opportunities and experiences to inspire them to be the very best they can be. We know that every child is different and every child is great in many ways. Through true collaboration and sharing of ideas and views we will give the children every possible chance to shine – together we can make your children’s time at school the very best it can possibly be and help to unlock their talents.

The academic year 2012/2013 is now well into the final term but there are still many weeks left of valuable learning time. Let us make the most of every day and continue to strive for excellence in all we do.

As always, we are working together for your children.
