Red Nose Day, 2011

First of all, the School Council would like to say a big thank you to everyone who participated during Friday 18th March.  Every pound that was raised goes straight to a great cause. Altogether, we raised a whopping   £802.87!

The Talent Show turned out to be a great success and again, we would like to say another massive thank you to all of the acts that entered the show and to the audience for coming to watch. The School Council have worked extremely hard, as it has been a massive project for all members. As well as the talent show and the sale of red noses, lots of other different activities were going on around the school, including the very popular guess the baby competition.

At Victoria Dock Primary School all children will be given opportunities and experiences to inspire them to be the very best they can be. We know that every child is different and every child is great in many ways. Through true collaboration and sharing of ideas and views we will give the children every possible chance to shine – together we can make your children’s time at school the very best it can possibly be and help to unlock their talents.

The academic year 2012/2013 is now well into the final term but there are still many weeks left of valuable learning time. Let us make the most of every day and continue to strive for excellence in all we do.

As always, we are working together for your children.
