Cober Hill – Day 1

The children have arrived safely at Cober Hill and settled in.  After an early arrival they have all now been given their rooms and unpacked their belongings. This afternoon the children and staff have completed the first of their walks for the week known as “The Hulleys”. This is a lovely walk that takes the children through fields and woods and allows them chance to see how comfy their walking boots really are. Spirits were not even dampened by a good downpour of rain!

Following a three course dinner the children are currently taking part in an orienteering activity around the grounds of Cober Hill, putting their skills learnt in school to good use.

Much is planned for tomorrow following a good night’s sleep.

At Victoria Dock Primary School all children will be given opportunities and experiences to inspire them to be the very best they can be. We know that every child is different and every child is great in many ways. Through true collaboration and sharing of ideas and views we will give the children every possible chance to shine – together we can make your children’s time at school the very best it can possibly be and help to unlock their talents.

The academic year 2012/2013 is now well into the final term but there are still many weeks left of valuable learning time. Let us make the most of every day and continue to strive for excellence in all we do.

As always, we are working together for your children.
